Bend, OR (PRWEB) May 15, 2017
Today Hueya, the leader in online safety tools for cybercrime prevention, announced they are a gold sponsor for the 2017 PDX Cyber Camp.
The camp’s goal is to provide motivated high school students with a hands-on, introductory experience to cybersecurity principles, including hands-on implementation of cybersecurity policies and practices.. Cybersecurity is one of today’s hottest technical fields, with some experts forecasting a shortage of up to 1 million of trained professionals in the coming years.
Lewis Howell, Founder & CEO of Hueya, had this to say about the camp and Hueya’s involvement, “We are always excited to engage in growing the cybersecurity field and are proud to support PDX Cyber Camp 2017. It’s a great opportunity for kids to learn more about the technical side of cyber security as well as the importance of being safe online.”
