Adam Fleurimond of Del Rio, Texas, Named Grantham University Military Spouse of the Year
LENEXA, Kan. (PRWEB) May 15, 2017 -- Grantham University is proud to announce its 2017 Military Spouse of the Year: Adam Fleurimond. Adam was selected after his spouse Jessica Fleurimond, an active-duty Air Force member, submitted the winning one-minute video describing how Adam has supported her throughout her nearly 17-year military career.
“Adam is resilient, strong, patient, dedicated, adaptable, flexible, but most importantly, he is my biggest supporter, my number one supporter, my super hero,” said Jessica Fleurimond.
Adam will be rewarded with dinner for himself, Jessica and eight other guests of his choosing — up to a $500 value.
“Jessica’s inspirational story is indicative of the high value and appreciation placed on military spouse support,” said Steve Waldron, chief operating officer at Grantham University. “While rewarding, military service is indeed challenging, and those challenges are shouldered by the spouses, as well. We are delighted to recognize Adam for such an important role he plays 24/7 for his family.”
Grantham University also recognizes the following runners-up: Judy Flanagan (video by Gerald Flanagan); Trina Davis (video by Ryan Davis); Denise Salters (video by Rashad Salters); and Rachel Person (video by Sebastian Person). Each of these top finalists will be awarded a $25 gift card. Their videos were showcased from May 8 -11 on Grantham University’s Facebook page: http://www.Facebook.com/GranthamU
Jessica Fleurimond’s winning video about her spouse, Adam, premiered on the Facebook page today to coincide with Military Spouse Appreciation Day.
