Visit Temecula Valley Announces Inaugural Craft Beer Month
Temecula Valley, CA (PRWEB) May 15, 2017 -- Temecula Valley is well-recognized for its award-winning wines; however their hand-crafted beers are gaining popularity with 11 breweries and growing. In celebration of local brews, Visit Temecula Valley has introduced May as Craft Brew Month. All the breweries are invited to feature beers, beer and food pairings and specials.
Some of the breweries will feature fun competitions with craft brewers, featured specialty brews made just for the event, perfectly paired signature menu offerings to compliment small batch brews, and much more. Visitors hoping to sample the finest craft brews in the valley will want to plan a midweek two-night stay to best experience the craft beer specials featured throughout the month.
Garage Brewing, located in charming Old Town Temecula, will have their five brewers go head-to-head during the month of May with one beer released every Tuesday of the month. Patrons are invited to sample each of the signature brews for a special price each Tuesday.
Karl Strauss Brewery, San Diego’s first microbrewery dating back to 1989, will be featuring a specialty beer and bite combination throughout the month. The malty “Follow the Sun” Kolsch complements the kimchi rice and crispy haddock dubbed, “Thai One On” Haddie. Additional beer bites and share plates will also be offered.
Ballast Point Brewery is joining in the fun of the event by featuring a limited-time pairing, Pineapple Curry Mussels paired with a complementary taster of their Grunion Pale Ale. Ballast Point features an impressive selection of over 35 beers on tap, full service kitchen featuring local and sustainably caught foods, and a relaxed indoor/outdoor tasting room with fire pit for added interaction. In addition, the brewery will host a one-night-only beer events throughout the month of May including “Meet the Brewers” nights, Beer & Cheese pairing events, and trivia nights.
Beer fans can work off their pints at Relentless Brewing Company. Their Brew and Yoga event will be featured this May, as well as a unique variety of barrel-aged sours brewing for the month’s celebration.
Aftershock Brewing Company is showcasing their 20+ craft brew varieties this month with fun nightly specials that add to the excitement. Don’t miss Ladies Night Tuesdays (half off all flight orders!), Wet-Your-Whistle-Wednesdays (half off signature brews), Trivia Thursdays, and New Release Fridays, debuting a new craft brew each week throughout the month.
Refuge Brewery will kick off summer this May during Craft Brew Month with the inaugural Summer Nights series taking place at the end of the month. The back patio of the brewery will come alive with live music, food trucks, and specialty beers on tap all night. Ironfire Brewing Company offers nearly 10 custom craft concoctions on tap.
Black Market Brewing Company will feature Dragon Fruit IPA and Enemy Within during the month of May in addition to their regular selection of 15+ taps; Black Market also now is serving food. Don’t miss Wiens Brewing Company, home to the 2016 Great American Beer Festival’s Gold Medal Winning Apricot Wheat. They are celebrating Wiensday – Chef’s Pantry with $3 pints; Thursday – Beer to Go and Friday - $10 64 oz Growler Fills.
Just north of Temecula, in the town of Murrieta two additional breweries are joining in the Craft Beer Month excitement. Celebrate the grand opening of 8 Bit Brewing this month with a local artist showcase event featuring live music, dance, art, car show, tattoo expo, and plenty of commemorative craft beer on hand. Electric Brewing Company will be serving their specialty and signature brews throughout the month in addition to small-batch new offerings.
