Fly Away Simulation Start Listing X-Plane 11 Add-ons in Their "Free-to-Download" File Library
Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) May 16, 2017 -- Fly Away Simulation, one of the Internet's largest and most trusted flight simulator resource and portal websites have announced that they will begin listing freeware add-ons and downloads for Laminar Research's X-Plane 11 flight simulator package.
X-Plane 11 was released on March 30th, 2017 on various platforms including Steam and direct download from the X-Plane website.
Users of version 11, like users of version 10 are always searching for expansions, add-ons and additional downloads for their flight simulator package. These downloads or, "DLC" expand upon the original flight simulator package and add things such as additional aircraft, scenery areas, utilities and more.
Many of the existing X-Plane 10 downloads on the Fly Away Simulation website are known to work with version 11 but it means users will have to try them as the developers have not started explicit compatibility. Following on from that, Fly Away Simulation are beginning to list X-Plane 11 compatible downloads which are 100% compatible with this latest release.
Access to the file library at Fly Away Simulation is completely free of charge and no registration is required to download, access, use or view any of the 24,000 downloads available.
Most of the existing downloads available on the Fly Away Simulation website cover the Microsoft Flight Simulator package, FSX (or FSX: Steam Edition) but many users are moving over to X-Plane 11 following the release and the feedback from old "FSX" users is good.
New downloads for X-Plane 11 are added each week and the library is growing day-by-day for users of this version. Developers are creating new freeware add-ons all of the time and Fly Away Simulation will always be up-to-date with the latest add-ons available for X-Plane 11 (XP11).
