Powernet’s AJ Caplinger Honored as Bronze Stevie® Award Winner in 2017 American Business Awards
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) May 17, 2017 -- Powernet’s AJ Caplinger has been named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Technical Professional of the Year category in The 15th annual American Business Awards. AJ has worked as a Wireless Design Engineer at Powernet for two years.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations - public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 20. Tickets are now on sale.
More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. Powernet’s AJ Caplinger was nominated for the Technical Professional of the Year.
“AJ’s ability to design efficient network layouts while balancing customer budget and network durability helps set Powernet apart from the competition,” says Jill Warren, director of network services at Powernet. “AJ’s skillful designs have often been the deciding factor between us and the competition. To say he is worthy of this award is an understatement.”
The value AJ brings to Powernet is felt on many levels of the company.
“Thanks to AJ, Powernet has been able to expand our portfolio of Wi-Fi installations to include some of the most difficult indoor and outdoor venues,” says Alli Stevens, CEO of Powernet. “His capabilities and collaborative approach are key to our growth. We’re so happy to see him recognized with this award.”
More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
“Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
