QuadWest Associates, a human resources management firm serving companies in Southeast Michigan, today announced it has been selected to participate in Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
Goldman Sachs has chosen small businesses throughout all 50 states as well as Puerto Rico, Washington D.C. and the United Kingdom to participate in the program. The public-private partnership was created to help entrepreneurs unlock the growth and job-creation potential of small businesses. The program consists of 14 of weeks of classes led by trained staff which follows a curriculum designed and developed in collaboration with Goldman Sachs and Babson College (MA). The program also includes opportunities for one-on-one sessions with business experts and membership in an active alumni network following graduation.
Data gathered after three years show that graduates of the program consistently grow their revenues and create jobs at rates that outperform the broader economy. Results are seen as early as six months after graduation and businesses are still growing 18 months and 30 months after completing the program.
