New Website for Louis Armstrong House Museum Designed by Digital Natives Group
(PRWEB) May 17, 2017 -- Digital Natives Group (http://nativesgroup.com) congratulates their client, the Louis Armstrong House Museum (http://www.louisarmstronghouse.org/), on the launch of the museum's new website. This new website, designed and developed by Natives, celebrates the life and work of jazz icon Louis Armstrong, as well as promotes his historic home and museum in the neighborhood of Corona, Queens.
The new, fully-responsive website is the result of a comprehensive redesign process that included interviews, site visits, archival research, competitive analysis, and more. Visitors will find a large assortment of vivid imagery, some never before publicized, culled from reviewing over 10,000 photographs. Home-recorded audio of Louis himself discussing his life and career further brings Satchmo to life.
Full visitor information is also available on the new site, including brand-new 360° photography of the home’s pristinely-preserved rooms. Nearby places to eat and stay are listed, and information for group tours is readily accessible. The new site will also be a valuable communications tool for the museum, with a robust blog and events section, and both email newsletter and social media integration.
“Working with the Louis Armstrong House Museum on redesigning their website has been one of the greatest honors and most enjoyable projects ever. The joy of Louis Armstrong’s infectious personality permeates the site, and now our whole team can’t stop humming along. What a wonderful world indeed, congrats to the whole team!” said Ben Guttmann, Partner at Digital Natives Group.
The Louis Armstrong House Museum is a National Historic Landmark and a New York City landmark. The museum is a member of the American Alliance of Museums, the Association of African American Museums, the Museums Council of New York City, the New York State Museums Association, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and NYC & Company. The museum is a constituent of the Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College. Visitors may take a 40-minute guided tour the museum every hour on the hour, Tuesday-Friday 10:00AM to 5:00PM, and Saturdays and Sundays 12:00PM to 5:00PM.
This new website is the latest project for Natives, a problem-solving digital marketing agency in New York’s Long Island City neighborhood. In addition to the Louis Armstrong House Museum (http://nativesgroup.com/work/louis-armstrong-house-museum/), Natives specializes in action-oriented websites, mobile apps, and marketing campaigns for similar tourism and trade brands both domestic and global.
