Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) Launches Knowledge-Sharing Network to Offer College Admissions Advice
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) May 17, 2017 -- The Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) announced today the launch of the College Admissions Expert Calling Network (ECN), a knowledge-sharing platform connecting independent education consultants with high school students and their families during the transition into higher education. HECA is the premier professional organization for independent education consultants in providing professional development, advancing ethical standards of conduct, and promoting equity and access to higher education for all students.
HECA consultants are showcased on the College Admissions ECN (http://collegeadmissions.expertcallingnetwork.com/), and are accessible to knowledge-seekers in a variety of free community forums or, using the platform’s InCall® feature, via paid one-on-one phone consultations at a rate set by each consultant. Registration for consumers is free. Brainsy, Inc., a provider of patented online knowledge-sharing platforms, powers the ECN.

In 2017, over 20 million students are expected to attend American universities and colleges consisting of more than 4,700 Title IV degree-granting institutions. The student to counselor ratio in high schools nationally approaches 500:1 and is as high as 1,000:1 in some parts of the country.
