GENIVI Alliance to Present and Exhibit at TU-Automotive Detroit 2017
(PRWEB) May 16, 2017 -- The GENIVI Alliance will present an update on their Connected Vehicle pilot in Nevada in a panel on June 7 at 4.20 in the Urban Mobility and Smart Cities track. Experts from GENIVI, HARMAN International and Hortonworks will be sharing their knowledge and perspective on the role of Remote Vehicle Interaction (RVI) as an open solution for vehicle-to-city communication, as well as the value of vehicle data to the future of urban mobility.

Smart Cities Get Smarter with Vehicle Data
Cities are making good progress in planning for the future wave of urbanization through combining and analyzing data collected from infrastructure, vehicles, and sensors.
• Learn how connected vehicle data, when consolidated with city transportation data, can be the basis for planning future mobility solutions
• Understand how GENIVI Remote Vehicle Interaction (RVI) works as an open solution enabling city-to-vehicle communication so that cities can plan future infrastructure and traffic management based on real data
