Ashburn, VA (PRWEB) May 17, 2017
The Institute for Building Technology and Safety (IBTS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with the National Association of Counties (NACo) to offer members a new benefit, at no charge.
Under this agreement, IBTS is offering NACo member counties the opportunity to bring their permitting process online through the use of IBTS’s GOVmotus™ Bronze package. GOVmotus is IBTS’s Software as a Service (SaaS) suite designed to support building department automation. This innovative software package helps cities manage, automate, and track community development processes. The Bronze package offers the following features: online permit application, permit issuing, plan review letter, inspections scheduling and reporting, and Certificate of Occupancy issuing.
The GOVmotus™ Bronze package is offered to all NACo members at no charge for implementation plus a small usage fee per permit. Additionally, NACo members receive discounted rates on the Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages should jurisdictions desire additional features.
“IBTS is proud to offer this benefit to NACo members,” says Craig Bertolett, Director of Operations at IBTS. “The GOVmotus permitting software will save jurisdictions both time and money while enabling better automation and tracking of community development processes.”
“At NACo, we strive to provide our member counties with innovative tools to help them succeed,” says Linda Langston, Director of Strategic Relations at NACo. “By working with IBTS to offer this software solution to our members, it is our hope that we will be removing a layer of complexity from their building departments’ processes so that they may focus on other aspects of their communities.”
