JCB has been honored by a leading rental industry association for developing equipment that meets the specific needs of that sector.
The European Rental Awards ceremony – organized by the European Rental Association (ERA) and International Rental News magazine – took place in Amsterdam during an industry convention at the International Rental Exhibition and the APEX aerial platform show.
Martin Sebestyen, Chairman of the ERA’s Technical Committee, awarded the first-ever Special Recognition Award to JCB as a “manufacturer that has demonstrated a commitment to designing products tailored for the rental industry.” George Bamford, son of JCB Chairman Lord Bamford, accepted the award on behalf of JCB. He was accompanied on stage by Yvette Henshall-Bell, JCB Group Managing Director, Global Key Accounts.
“Everyone at JCB should be really proud of this accolade because the decision to award it to JCB was made by the rental companies themselves,” said Claudio Fiorentini, JCB's Managing Director of Major Global Accounts and Special Projects. “This Special Recognition Award makes everyone's hard work very worthwhile.”
