New England College of Business today announced the lineup of student speakers for its commencement ceremony on May 20. The three 2017 graduates, Caitlin Mancuso, Starry Poe and Kevin Goehring, were selected to speak by the Commencement Committee.
Both Mancuso, who currently works as Assistant Vice President of Corporate Audit at State Street Corporation, and Poe, an Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Leader Bank, will be receiving MBAs. Poe also earned her Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees from NECB.
Goehring, a Professor of Aviation at Sacramento City College and Managing Broker at California Seller Realty, will receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
“Attending NECB has been a great decision that has opened opportunities that I never thought possible,” said Goehring.
According to NECB’s 2017 commencement theme, “Invest in Yourself,” each graduate will speak about the investments they have made in themselves and will detail how their NECB education has helped them to achieve their personal and professional goals.
“Caitlin, Starry and Kevin all have inspiring stories, and we are proud to say that we have helped them on their way to success,” said NECB President Howard Horton, Esq. “We wish them the best of luck as they move up in their careers.”
The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. and last approximately two hours. The student speakers will follow NECB’s commencement speaker, Michelle Cully, founder, President and Owner of Xpressman Trucking & Courier.
