TPA Introduces Video Series Focused on Containing the Costs of Health Plans
Appleton, WI (PRWEB) May 18, 2017 -- Cypress Benefit Administrators has added a new video series to its website that aims to educate employers about ways to gain control over the rising costs of health plans and simplify administration.
These videos include feature presentations from Cypress University 2017 – a two-day event the third party administrator (TPA) hosts each year for brokers, clients and vendor-partners. They spotlight some of the top minds in the self-funded industry and share the latest thinking on strategies and solutions related to employee benefits.
“The demand for the level of knowledge and hands-on information shared at this event is definitely growing, as all spots for Cypress University filled in less than 10 days this year,” said Tom Doney, president and CEO of Cypress. “We are happy to make these presentations available to others who may need some help managing health plans and keeping the costs in check.”
A Cypress University 2017 overview kicks off the online video series, and the following titles are included:
• The Future of Wellness
• Fiduciary Responsibility & You
• Chronic Care & Medication Management
• Innovations in Care Management
• Opportunities (and Missed Opportunities) via Provider Transparency
• The Benefits of a Psychologically Healthy Workplace
• The Latest Innovations in Telemedicine
• Out of Network Savings: National Access to Providers
Viewers can also watch a Cypress Client Panel and see how employers are experiencing real-life success with plan savings as they implement customized benefits. The series includes a presentation from Doney on Cypress’s evolution as a TPA, as well.
“There is a lot that goes into being able to offer a well-rounded, cost-effective health plan today,” Doney said. “If these presentations spark an idea or two, that’s a step in the right direction.”
