Workforce Magazine Announces 2017 Workforce 100 Honorees
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 18, 2017 -- Workforce magazine, a Human Capital Media publication, announced its 2017 Workforce 100 prestigious honorees. Now in its fourth year, the Workforce 100 designates companies as the best in HR management through statistical analysis conducted by Human Capital Media Advisory Group.
The Workforce list includes Google at No. 1, Facebook at No. 2, Coca-Cola at No. 3, Deloitte at No. 4 and AT&T at No. 5; 25 previously unranked companies also made the list for the first time, including Ultimate Software (No. 19), West Monroe Partners (No. 31), LaSalle Network (No. 38) and Grant Thornton (No. 92).
“For the past four years, we have watched Workforce 100 continue to grow in popularity and are excited about its ability to assess performance to organizations with greater accuracy,” said Rick Bell, Workforce editorial director. “Many companies ask about the methodology in ranking the Workforce 100 list. We collaborate with our research arm, Human Capital Media Advisory Group, which created a formula to sift through publicly available information and results in a valuable industry benchmark.”
The Workforce 100 chart indicates the rank order and scores of the 100 companies that performed best in seven core areas: workplace culture; employee benefits; diversity and inclusion; employee development/ talent management; HR innovation/management; leadership development; recruiting and talent acquisition. The working assumption is that high performance in these categories would provide a reasonable proxy for overall HR excellence.
Workforce 100 honorees were announced on April 21, 2017 and all organizations will be profiled in the May/June issue of Workforce magazine. For more information on the program, methodology and past & current honorees, please visit Workforce.com/awards/workforce-100.
