Valley Home Care, part of Valley Health System in New Jersey, has been a pioneer in telemedicine since 2005. In 2016, they turned to local Hoboken company, Health Recovery Solutions (HRS), to offer high-risk patients a new level of patient care and to upgrade its telehealth program.

HRS’ software allows clinicians to monitor a range of patient biometric values—including blood pressure, weight, and oxygen level—and responses to daily symptom questions specific to their disease condition. All data captured through the devices automatically and securely transmit back to Valley’s clinical team within seconds so that clinicians can follow up with their patients and intervene when necessary.
