Canadian-based skateboard company Juiced brings an elegant, affordable and ultra-powerful electric board to market with hopes of changing the way commuters get around.

The Juiced company boasts videos on their social media platforms featuring riders cruising through the Canadian Rockies, so customers know the boards are built tough.

While many city-dwelling commuters find themselves stuck on sweaty, crowded buses or in bumper-to-bumper traffic for hours at a time, some inventive life-hackers know tricks to help make their ride easier. Juiced, a Canadian company based out of Alberta, plans to cut out the bus ride altogether – by introducing a technologically-advanced and cost-efficient longboard for the economically-savvy commuter.

The Juiced Electric Longboard has officially launched today on Indiegogo and will be delivering to its backers as early as July, 2017.

With acceleration, top speed, easy-to-learn features and breaking adaptable to the rider's comfort, Juiced offers the authentic longboarding experience for skateboard newbies and seasoned riders alike. Almost anyone can pick up the skill in less than ten minutes.

The company, which prides itself in the details of every board, boasts electric models with high-quality deck materials like maple and bamboo, and builds each board with power. “An affordable, elegant and powerful electric skateboard simply didn’t exist,” says founder and CEO of Juiced Boards, Matti Deacon. “Other boards on the market may have more tech features such as apps, or lights, etc. Ours is designed clean and simple. On purpose."

That’s not to say that the Juiced board isn’t packed with features, though.
Remote-controlled and able to ride uphill, skaters can conquer terrain they never have been able to with a traditional skateboard.
The models all feature discreet but powerful motors located inside the wheel hubs, which, because of the board’s sleek design, remain weatherproof and invisible from the road.
The motors even have a perk that all skaters will love: it becomes a familiar traditional longboard once it runs out of battery, and can recharge itself going downhill without the resistance found on most electric skateboards.

For the Juiced team, quality board-building comes only from years of dedication and genuine love and appreciation for skateboarding as a whole. Since the rise in popularity of electric skateboards, Matti Deacon & Edward McIntyre have been constructing boards by focusing on what they consider to be the most important attributes to any board: "The combination of powerful hub motors, quality design & accessible price-point will position the Juiced Board as the go-to for electric skateboards," Deacon proclaims.

About Juiced – The Company

With the motto “Battle-Tested in Canada" it should come as no surprise that the creators of the Juiced board are boarding enthusiasts. Juiced founders Matti Deacon and Edward McIntyre, based out of Alberta, Canada, knew they loved skating from a young age and both consider themselves to be avid riders and lovers of board sports. The Juiced company boasts videos on their social media platforms featuring riders cruising through the Canadian Rockies, so customers know the boards are built tough.
