Omnikron recognizes the importance of Negotiations. Negotiation for Business Leaders was designed for professionals who are interested in achieving more consistently positive outcomes through negotiation.

Negotiation is an integral part of business, whether negotiating a sensitive international deal or sitting across the bargaining table from internal stakeholders, team members or colleagues.

Omnikron recognizes the importance of Negotiations. Negotiation for Business Leaders was designed for professionals who are interested in achieving more consistently positive outcomes through negotiation.

The course was developed in conjunction with Chris Voss, 24-year veteran of the FBI. Mr. Voss has directed and advised teams in a variety of investigations, liaisons, and collaborations on global objectives in major countries and cities around the world. Mr. Voss has taught negotiation techniques at The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and at Harvard Law School. He has been featured discussing the use of these techniques in critical situations on ABC News, CNN and Fox News.

Participants in Omnikron's Negotiation training gain tactics, techniques and strategies designed to defuse tension and get to “Yes” – without arguments or confrontation, just like the tactics used by high-stakes global negotiators (including the FBI’s former Lead International Kidnapping Negotiator) in life-or-death situations.

Negotiation for Business Leaders covers:

  •     The differences – and similarities– between hostage negotiation and business negotiation
  •     Why crisis negotiation principles work just as effectively with executives, colleagues or corporate raiders
  •     How to smoothly and confidently maintain the upper hand when the unexpected occurs
  •     The importance of emotional intelligence and how it correlates to business success
  •     Why negotiating price alone is not enough
  •     How to gather information in the course of a negotiation in order to create a lasting agreement
  •     How to prepare to assume control once high-stress negotiations begin

Omnikron's high quality training is reflected in testimonies from previous participants in the Negotiation for Business Leaders course:

"One of my biggest takeaways was how to listen and learn from other people's perspectives – this is a fundamental change in the way we normally communicate and you have to practice it..."

"I thought I knew everything about negotiation until I took this course. This approach helps get to the missing pieces of information in a negotiation."

"I came to realize that negotiation sometimes has nothing to do with price – it’s disclosing information, sharing resources, discussing terms, etc. Having the leaderboard made me reflect on the techniques all the time."

"The class was super, I loved the activities. It was brain-bending and full of takeaways--priceless! - Thanks Robin!"
