Jon Rivers, President of Marketing Monarchs, Becomes a Voices for Innovation Advisory Task Force Member

Jon Rivers, President of Marketing Monarchs, a marketing services company focused on the Microsoft Partner Community, has joined Voices for Innovation (VFI) as an Advisory Task Force Member. Voices for Innovation is a Microsoft supported community of technology professionals and everyday Americans who help advance technology, IT job growth, and businesses of all sizes through engaging with elected officials.

As an inbound marketing leader within the Microsoft Partner community, Marketing Monarchs helps Microsoft Partners develop, execute and manage effective social media, social selling and social listening strategies. Those services include: helping partners with their social strategies, execution services to support those strategies, and content creation – all driven by years of social channel pioneering and marketplace experience.

“I am excited to have been invited to join this elite group of fellow technology professionals and everyday Americans, especially as we enter a period of transformation and uncertainty,” stated Jon Rivers, Founder and President of Marketing Monarchs. “With two young school-age daughters, I am acutely aware of the technology leaps that have occurred since I left school. It is critical to make sure that we are delivering the appropriate Computer Science and STEM education programs to our children, so that when they enter the workforce, they are equipped with the requisite skills.”

Jon continues: “Now, the United States leads the world in technology innovation, but our leadership is jeopardized by insufficient support for computer science education in our nation’s K-12 schools. We need to work together to change that. Also, technology is changing all around us at a rapid pace. But there are outdated laws that are impeding that progress. We need to change that, too.”

In summary, Jon writes: “Being involved in Voices for Innovation (VFI) allows me to become a better trusted advisors to my clients. It also affords me a level of credibility in my exchanges with elected officials. I encourage everyone to check out what VFI is doing in these arenas.”
