The Holiday Inn Westbury - Long Island, located next door to Chateau Briand and surrounded by other well-known catering halls, is the host to hundreds of wedding groups throughout the year. Specifically April through early November, wedding guests flood the Hotel’s lobby, garden courtyard, and bar while they enjoy their time celebrating before and after the wedding.
The Hotel’s Sales Team understands the many aspects of planning a wedding, and dedicates their time to making sure that their clients are well taken care of throughout the process. The Hotel's Director of Sales, Stephanie Lambert, just recently got married herself and said, "I know just how stressful planning a wedding today on Long Island can be, so that pushes me even harder to make sure that I can make my clients' planning process as stress-free and easy as possible for them. They work with each wedding group to secure blocks of 10 or more rooms at discounted rates for wedding guests traveling near and far to celebrate the happy couple. They also assist with booking pre and post-wedding catered events in the Hotel’s over 4,000 sq. ft. of banquet space and their new full-service LiLLiES Restaurant & Bar.
On Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, the Holiday Inn Westbury will be hosting a Bridal Brunch, inviting current and prospective wedding couples to join them for a day of food, prizes, and incentives for those who book with the Hotel. There is no charge for each wedding couple that RSVPs to the Bridal Brunch. The Hotel’s Sales Coordinator, Julie Baffi, said, “We understand that the parents and bridal party are important roles in helping the wedding couple throughout their planning process, so we welcome them to invite their friends and family to join us at our Bridal Brunch for just $10 per person. This way, everyone will have the opportunity to see the hotel, win some prizes, and bounce questions and ideas off of our Sales Team when inquiring about booking with us.”
The Hotel’s staff will take groups of attendees for full tours of the Hotel’s guest rooms and suites, garden courtyard and gazebo for pre-wedding and “first look” photos, LiLLiES Restaurant & Bar for rehearsal dinners, after parties, and brunches, and banquet space for engagement parties, bridal showers, hair & make-up rooms, and much more. LiLLiES Restaurant will be setting up an extensive hot & cold Brunch Buffet for all to enjoy, and to showcase what each group may receive if they were to book a post-wedding brunch with the Hotel.
In honor of Father’s Day being the Sunday before the Bridal Brunch, all dads who attend with their daughter (bride) will automatically attend and eat for free. Weather permitting, the Hotel’s Director of Sales and General Manager with be cooking and offering BBQ options for all attendees, served in the Hotel’s beautiful outdoor garden courtyard. Throughout the Brunch, various prizes will be raffled off including an assortment of gift baskets, a complimentary stay at the Holiday Inn Westbury for two, and a dream vacation to Montego Bay, Jamaica for 3 days and 2 nights with airfare and hotel included for one person, plus 50,000 IHG Rewards Points to redeem at any of the over 5,000 IHG hotels worldwide.
Wedding couples who choose to book a block of rooms or a catered event at the Hotel will also be entitled to exclusive offers such as complimentary rooms, Romance Packages including champagne, rose petals, and chocolate covered strawberries on the night of their wedding, complimentary shuttle service to and from their ceremony location or reception venue (within a 7 mile radius of the hotel), and a 10% discount on the Hotel’s catering menu prices (excludes alcohol).
