Snake River Sporting Club Announces "The Lodges"
Jackson Hole, WY (PRWEB) June 01, 2017 -- Snake River Sporting Club, a private residential and resort community designed for sporting and outdoor enthusiasts, is pleased to announce Phases I and II of “The Lodges,” an exclusive new offering comprised of 63 units bordered by the Bridger-Teton National Forest to the east and the Snake River to the west. Phase 1 Plat was recorded earlier this month.
These properties are covered under Teton County’s Resort Zoning, allowing owners to place their property into short-term property management when they are not being used by the owners. Resort Zoning is a rarity in Jackson Hole, adding yet another layer of allure to “The Lodges” when combined with the numerous amenities offered at Snake River Sporting Club. The new zoning is the result of the density transfer from the Astoria Hot Springs location as approved by Teton County in September 2015.
The architect behind “The Lodges” is Walton Architecture and Engineering. Inspired by the mountain modern aesthetic, the three designs currently planned for the initial phase of “The Lodges” include:
• Caddis Court: 5 bedroom, 4 ½ bath, two-story homes with beautiful views located in the center of the development. The Caddis Court homes also offer 2 ½ car garages and 3,741 square-feet of indoor living space. Heavy timber lodge-style beam work, rustic plank flooring, and river rock complete a contemporary palette that is still very much of the West. A generous outdoor deck creates the extended family living spaces.
• Fairway Cabins: The perfect vacation home with 4 equal master bedroom suites and 4 ½ bathrooms within 2,626 square-feet of indoor space. The Fairway Cabins have an open floor plan with lock off capability that will provide additional flexibility for the rental market. The site is located on the 11th fairway of the acclaimed Tom Weiskopf-designed golf course, which looks out towards the Snake River Range.
• Astoria Cabins: Attractive 3 bedroom, 3 ½ bath homes within 2,287 square-feet designed with modern construction featuring tall glass windows that allow winter and summer sun to stream into the residence. This mountain modern design has an ingenious floor plan that allows owners or visiting tenants to lock off a bedroom, creating flexible options for space and sleeping arrangements. Heaven-scraping windows beneath modern, clean-lined roofs pattern the warm interiors with the shifting shadows of conifers and clouds. The wizening patina of reclaimed barn wood harkens to the West's defiant individuality.
“The announcement of ‘The Lodges’ represents an exciting new phase that significantly expands Jackson Hole’s hospitality offering and allows more visitors to come and enjoy the destination,” says Jeff Heilbrun, Executive Vice President and Director of Sales at Snake River Sporting Club. “We look forward to welcoming new members and guests as Snake River Sporting Club continues to thrive while staying true to our original vision of creating an authentic western experience within a private club setting.”
“The Lodges” serve as the newest addition to Snake River Sporting Club's existing collection of real estate offerings, which already includes a variety of home sites and completed turnkey residences. There are currently 11 large view Ranch Estate lots available ranging from 7 to 35 acres, 29 home sites for The Residences ranging from 0.5 to 2.2 acres, and 3 Tall Timber Cottages designed by renowned Poss Architecture that are move-in ready.
While “The Lodges” are under construction, a selection of residential-style accommodations are currently available for overnight stays. From a rustic Sporting Cabin, secluded for privacy with expansive views overlooking Wolf Mountain and the famed Snake River, to four “tiny homes” that feature 1 bedroom and 400 sq. ft. at the Discovery Village, guests can enjoy the perfect balance of comfort and luxury along with exclusive access to the club’s private amenities and recreational pursuits.
Members and guests of Snake River Sporting Club can experience a host of western activities that include fly-fishing, rafting, floating and canoeing from six private-access miles of the Snake River, horseback trail riding and rodeos, hiking from a number of trailheads leading directly into the Bridger-Teton National Forest, clay shooting, 3D archery, paddle boarding, hiking, tennis, paddle tennis, highly ranked championship golf course, a new pool and much more. This summer will also see the return of Snake River Sporting Club’s relationship with Orvis. The club will once again host the Orvis Fly-Fishing School Jackson Hole, a series of one-day and two-day intensive classes that combine classroom programming with on-stream instruction on the club’s six-miles of private access to the Snake River. Led by Orvis Fly Fishing Instructor Spencer Morton, the classes will be open to fly fishing enthusiasts from around the globe beginning June 5, 2017.
