MidwestHR has achieved rigorous PEO certification by IRS lending credibility and prestige to the organization

MidwestHR, LLC has been named one of the first Certified Professional Employer Organizations (CPEO) in the United States by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Thus far, only 84 companies have met the rigorous criteria to have earned this recognition, which puts MidwestHR among the top in the industry.

In 2015, the IRS established a voluntary certification program for PEOs enacted by the Small Business Efficiency Act. In order to achieve this status, PEOs must meet exemplary standards in their tax compliance, experience, and financial reporting among other categories. Once a PEO achieves this certification, companies partnering with or leaving a PEO no longer risk the liability of double taxation.

MidwestHR CEO Jeffrey Bartelt comments on the subject saying, “One of our many goals at MidwestHR is to constantly improve to ensure we are best servicing our clients. When we learned of the IRS certification, MidwestHR immediately began the process seeking to be one of the first PEOs certified. This gives our clients assurance that they are partnering with a trusted company that has met high standards set by the US government. We are honored to receive this certification and proud of our company for achieving this goal.”

As a CPEO, MidwestHR can continue to enable business owners to focus on their core business objectives and improve the lives of their employees. This is accomplished by managing employment related functions such as human resources, employee benefit plans, retirement packages, payroll services, and more for client businesses. With this recognition of certification by the IRS, MidwestHR continues to be a premier PEO in the Midwest region and throughout the country.

The IRS does not endorse specific Certified Professional Employer Organizations. For more information about MidwestHR, LLC, please call 630-836-3000 or visit our website at http://www.midwesthr.com.
