CCRA Releases Top Summer Travel Destinations Based on Travel Agency Bookings

Data reflects a shift in the most popular US and International destinations for 2017 travel.

CCRA has revealed the top booked destinations on their hotel booking portal, CCRATravel.com for summer travel in 2017. These destinations were booked for travelers to arrive from May 1, 2017 through October 1, 2017.

Top 10 International Destinations

1. London
2. Vancouver
3. Rome
4. Paris
5. Amsterdam
6. Barcelona
7. Dubai
8. Tokyo
9. Vienna
10. Mexico City

Top 10 Domestic Destinations

1. Las Vegas
2. St. Louis
3. New Orleans
4. Miami
5. Nashville
6. San Francisco
7. Seattle
8. San Diego
9. New York
10. San Jose

Trends suggest that many travelers are looking to experience alternative destinations than what would be considered “traditional” summer travel. This was particularly noticeable when compared to 2016 domestic data, which reflected more family oriented destinations such as Orlando and Washington D.C., in exchange for cities such as St. Louis and Nashville in 2017.
