MMF Wheelchair Accessible Payment Terminal Mount is Nominated for Three Prestigious Industry Awards
Wheeling, Illinois (PRWEB) June 06, 2017 -- The 2017 North American Office Products Awards (NAOPA) nominees have been announced, and MMF Industries is honored to be recognized for the second consecutive year. This year, MMF has been nominated in three categories for the company’s innovative Wheelchair Accessible Payment Terminal Mount.
The Wheelchair Accessible Mount was nominated for the following awards:
• Best Core Business Product – given for excellent product development and value to customers. Judges select innovative products that excel in design and functionality for resellers and consumers.
• Product Innovation of the Year – given to innovative products that deserve recognition in functionality, design, originality and environmental attributes.
• People’s Choice – given to the product that receives the highest number of votes (see voting information below).
The MMF Wheelchair Accessible Mount is a patent-pending design that addresses the ever-growing concern of increasing accessibility to payment terminals within checkout counters. The adaptable and secure arm on the mount extends from a stationary position to a height below the counter within ADA* guidelines. This improves accessibility for customers using wheelchairs and helps prevent security violations that occur when customers relinquish their cards and PIN because they cannot reach. This product was designed for any business that accepts credit card payments.
The winners of these awards will be announced on July 13, 2017, at the S.P. Richard’s Advantage Business Conference (ABC), the largest annual event for North American dealers, the event attracts more than 3,000 attendees per year.
