Top focus at the summit is India’s recent ruling to allow bulk exports of some of its edible oil. Analyzing this new development is a key spokesperson from India’s edible oil industry - Sanjiv Sawla, Chairman, Indian Oilseeds & Produce Exporters Association, via paper on ‘Level the Playing Field with the Opening Up of India Edible Oil Bulk Exports’. He was recently quoted – “the edible oil export policy is now well aligned with global packaging norms and is better positioned to cater to global demand.”
