In 2013, Coastal Living Magazine named Beaufort the Happiest Seaside Town in America, one of the finest accolades for the Sea Islands.

Island Realty is a full-service real estate brokerage serving Beaufort and the surrounding Sea Islands since 1997. In addition to outstanding service, Island Realty’s robust year is proof that people are choosing to buy homes in Beaufort over Charleston. Real Estate Scorecard believed inflation and heavy traffic are to blame. Over the past 5 years, real estate prices in Charleston have gone up as much as 47%. Home prices are the highest Charleston has ever seen. The growing population has unfortunately added to the traffic congestion, a factor relocating retirees are seeking to avoid.
