Our company retreat enables us to work and play together as a unified team, renewing and strengthening the bonds we build while striving to achieve our collective corporate goals.

ProviDyn®, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits, held its yearly corporate retreat on May 20, 2017. The event was a mid-year strategic meeting open to all employees, who were invited to bring their best ideas for promoting company and team excellence. It was run using the world-famous EOS Level 10 Meeting™ Agenda, a targeted approach that keeps teams focused on priorities while discussing and solving identified issues.

The retreat also gave the various ProviDyn teams an opportunity to engage and collaborate and provided a platform for management to officially introduce new personnel, announce service delivery process refinements and unveil career development incentives. At the conclusion of the strategic portion of the meeting, the team departed for a few hours of camaraderie and recreation at Top Golf, a Midtown entertainment complex featuring a variety of competitive, point-scoring golf games.

“Everyone in our organization has a specialized area of concentration, and while that’s great for our clients, it can loosen the fabric of team togetherness that is part of our corporate culture,” said ProviDyn CEO Hamish Davidson. “Our company retreat enables us to work and play together as a unified team, renewing and strengthening the bonds we build while striving to achieve our collective corporate goals.”

As a component of its quest for professional excellence, ProviDyn is a devotee of EOS (The Entrepreneurial Operating System), which combines timeless business principles with a set of simple, practical, real-world tools to help entrepreneurs and visionaries achieve business goals. EOS is organized around six key areas that need to be optimized to ensure everything is running smoothly and performing well. These include Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process and Traction. One of the most practical take-aways from the curriculum is putting the right people in the right seats and holding everyone accountable.
