RallyPoint Welcomes C Space Founder & Chairman Diane Hessan to its Advisory Board
WATERTOWN, MA (PRWEB) June 08, 2017 -- RallyPoint, the premier social network for the military community, announced today that Diane Hessan, Founder and Chairman of C Space, has joined its advisory board.
Diane’s addition to RallyPoint’s advisory board brings a wealth of entrepreneurial and community-building expertise to an accomplished team. As founder and CEO of C Space (formerly “Communispace”), she grew the company to more than 500 employees before its nine-figure acquisition by Omnicom in 2011.
“We’re honored to have Diane join an incredible team of advisors at RallyPoint,” said RallyPoint CEO Dave Gowel. “Diane’s experience in leading and growing companies while focusing on the dual success of both her corporate customers and ultimate consumers makes her a natural fit for RallyPoint. It is serious business for us to deliver a first-class experience at no cost to our military community while driving results for the corporate customers who seek to reach our military members. Diane knows this type of business and has succeeded here multiple times.”
Diane also led the Startup Institute as its CEO, and served as EVP of The Forum Corporation through its acquisition by Pearson.
“From the second I heard about Rally Point, I knew it was responding to a huge need,” said Hessan. “C Space has built communities of customers to help inspire brands, and doing this in the military market takes the kind of special expertise that is inherent in the RallyPoint team. I fully expect hundreds of companies to leverage RallyPoint when they want to connect with service members and veterans.”
As a result of RallyPoint’s expansion throughout the military community, Diane joins a robust advisory board that includes former iRobot President Greg White, Rocket Fuel CEO Randy Wootton and retired senior military officers General George Casey, General Norty Schwartz, Admiral John Harvey, Lieutenant General Ben Freakley, Major General Bruce Scott and General Craig Nixon.
