The program incorporates food distribution partners who leverage excess food resources and distribution channels for delivery, in order to achieve maximum scalability and results.
“Shockingly, someone on this planet dies every four seconds from starvation,” Jain said. “With help from amazing partners like City Gala we are confident we will reach our 1 billion meal goal.”
FAB is pioneering this new model to leverage existing resources, partnerships and the power of matching sponsorships to bring the cost of contributed meals down to $0.10 apiece.
“We are extremely pleased to partner with Feed A Billion in our 2018 City Gala event,” said City Gala founder Ryan Long. “FAB epitomizes the spirit of what City Gala is striving to achieve—Celebration, philanthropy, and the chance to advance the best and brightest new and progressing organizations that are improving humanity for worthy individuals throughout the world.”
