Advance Pierre Foods, a supplier to Omaha Steaks International, Inc., today announced a voluntary recall of some of its chicken products due to an undeclared milk allergen. There is no health risk associated with this product unless a person has a sensitivity to milk.

Omaha Steaks sold some of this product under the following label: “Chicken Tenders Sea Salt and Ground Pepper.” No other Omaha Steaks products are included in the recall.

  • The affected product is limited to 5,716 boxes and bears our establishment number P-4230A, with the following date codes, clearly noted on the product label:

ERROO, ERRUO, EIROO, EIRSO, EIIEO, ECBRO, EKBHO, EKBOO

The company has notified customers who purchased or received this product as gifts. Omaha Steaks is working diligently to eliminate any possible risk to our customers and is working with the USDA to eliminate any possible risk to consumers and to ensure the public's safety.
