Greenberg Traurig’s Françoise Gilbert to Speak at Lexing Network’s Conference on the EU General Data Protection Regulation in Milan, Italy
(PRWEB) June 09, 2017 -- Françoise Gilbert, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at the Lexing Network’s Conference, in Milan, Italy, June 14-16. The conference, held at the Milan Sheraton Diana Majestic hotel, will focus on the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will be enforced as of May 25, 2018.
Gilbert will participate in the panel discussion on “Data Protection by Design.” She will analyze the legal compliance issues associated with the “Data Protection Design” provisions of the GDPR, and will propose structures, strategies, tools, and techniques to be used in the implementation of the “Data Protection by Design” requirements.
Gilbert, located in the firm’s Silicon Valley office, focuses her practice and research on U.S. and global data privacy and cybersecurity in a wide variety of markets, including, among others, internet, big data, connected devices, sensors, artificial intelligence, robotics, and other emerging technologies.
