Author Allan Trawinski’s New Book “The Clash of Civilizations” is a Challenge to the Hypothesis that the Conflict in the Middle East Originated with the State of Israel

Recent release “The Clash of Civilizations” from Page Publishing author Allan Trawinski is a provocative thesis postulating that the ongoing conflict in the region that most people call the Middle East today, but which Trawinski more rightly prefers is the Near East, did not originate with the relatively recent establishment of the state of Israel in 1948, but thousands of years ago, at the beginning of the Trojan War.

Allan Trawinski, a retired commissioned officer in the US Army currently working with the US Department of Defense, has completed his new book “The Clash of Civilizations”: a thought-provoking work developed from a draft PhD thesis he began at George Mason University.

In this work, Allan Trawinski will test, and disprove, the commonly held hypothesis that the present West–Near East Conflict is a relatively new development (since the founding of the State of Israel in 1948), is primarily driven by religion/culture (radical Islamic fundamentalism against Christianity/Judaism), and that terrorism is employed as the Near East’s primary method/weapon/tactic of choice, which could all be ended by solving the Palestinian-Israeli (religious) problem, ending radical terrorism, becoming energy independent, liberating the region from despots, and establishing prosperous economic and democratic regimes in their wakes.

Consequently, he will test and prove his own counterhypothesis that the present West–Near East Conflict is a part of a continuous 3,275-year conflict that is secular (geopolitical/economic), as much as, or more than, ideological (religious/cultural), in nature, and that terrorism has, only until very recently, played a relatively minor role as the Near East’s primary method/weapon/tactic of choice.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Allan Trawinski’s controversial thesis offers a radical perspective on the historical and current state of Near Eastern geopolitical conflict.

Readers who wish to experience this fascinating work can purchase “The Clash of Civilizations” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Kobo, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
