Jeff Polen, who operates the Jeff Polen Music ministry along with his wife Jodi, has completed his new book “The Greatest Sacrifice”: an inspirational work that helps young readers to understand the sacrifice that has been made for them by Jesus Christ.
According to Polen, “(I) began (my) journey with Jesus at the age of twenty-one after (I) was radically saved from a life of alcoholism and the vain pursuit of fame through country music. Jodi (and I) were married in 2003, and surrendered (our) lives completely to Christ, becoming missionaries for Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and serving overseas in the nations of Turkey and Egypt. In 2006 (I) accepted the position of Youth Pastor and Music Director at a church in Ohio, where (I) served faithfully for nearly a decade, equipping and challenging the students and congregation to reach their world with the GOSPEL. Jodi (and I) now focus full-time on the Jeff Polen Music ministry, a non-profit ministry dedicated to pointing others to Jesus Christ through music, preaching, teaching, and training. (We) also have five wonderful children: Taylor, Abigail, Piper, Elijah, and Eden.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Jeff Polen’s colorfully illustrated tale focuses on one of the greatest things about the game of baseball, a play called the sacrifice.
During the sacrifice, one player gives up his at bat in order for another player to move into scoring position. It is an exciting and selfless play. This book relates this play to the greatest sacrifice in history, the story of Jesus Christ sacrificing his life for ours.
Readers who wish to experience this inspiring work can purchase “The Greatest Sacrifice” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Kobo, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
