"Success Files" with host Rob Lowe will cover Pediatric Trauma

Coming soon on the educational TV series “Success Files”, award-winning actor Rob Lowe will host many episodes focused on current news topics and issues that Americans face today. Each program is a high-quality, well-researched look at the topic at hand. In one particular episode, Rob Lowe will introduce a segment that covers pediatric trauma and the impact it has on the families who experience it.

Pediatric trauma is a leading cause of death amongst children. An injury resulting in a trauma can happen anywhere and at any time, and often requires surgery. When children do survive, they may not be the same as they were before. They can suffer short or long-term physical and/or mental changes as a result of the trauma. Not only does pediatric trauma affect its victims, it also impacts their families. Education and training of the families and first responders is key to helping save lives when it comes to these traumas. This episode of "Success Files" will detail some of these events and how these children and their families persevered.
