A home that will be shown on Season 7 of "The Vanilla Ice Project", was listed and sold by local real estate firm Dale Sorensen Real Estate.

A home that is featured on Season 7 of the DIY Network’s “Vanilla Ice Project” was listed and sold by Dale Sorensen Real Estate. The home, located at 8145 Hwy A1A in Melbourne Beach was listed for $1.8 million and sold for $1.7 million. DSRE sales agent George Gagniuk, out of the Indialantic office, was the listing agent and DSRE sales agent Eva McMillan, of the same office, was the selling agent. The closing of the property took place in March of 2015,

“This was a very unique listing in that the property is a full 2 acres on the barrier island; it’s almost unheard of to be able to purchase a piece of property that size these days,” said McMillan. The property included a 4-bedroom main house, a 2-bedroom guest cottage and a 5-car garage. “The buyers loved the location, size of the property, and they had family in the neighborhood. They put an offer in on the spot, paid cash and it closed in two weeks. The main house was completely remodeled while the guest cottage was a total knock-down. The buyers also closed in the pool. But highlight of this home remains the size of the property and its 300 square feet of ocean frontage. It’s exciting to see this home get national attention on this show.” McMillan said the buyer came from South Florida and contacted her after doing a lot of research on real estate agents specializing in Melbourne Beach properties. Over 80% of McMillan’s listings are on Melbourne Beach.

McMillan just listed another home across the street at 8150 Highway A1A. This 4100-square foot 5-bedroom home, on the beautiful Indian River, is a newer 2001 build with over 1 acre of property. The home is listed for $1,450 million.
