“Dangerous Inheritance”: a mystery about saving the family farm. “Dangerous Inheritance” is the creation of published author, Diane Winters. Diane is from Southwest Nebraska where she was raised on a farm. As Diane wrote this story, she used fond memories of friends and family. The story is fictional, but the friendships and mantra of ‘neighbors helping neighbors’ have always been a large part of her farming community.
“Robert immediately requested the lawyer to draw up the paperwork necessary to have Maggie handle the estate as the personal representative as she was going to be staying at the farm indefinitely and Robert was headed back to Chicago. Robert had all intentions of signing the farm over to Maggie when the estate was settled, so she went right home after saying good-bye to Robert and his family and decided to read the land leases.” --Diane Winters
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Diane Winters’ new book is the story of the Chesney siblings and their struggle to save the family farm.
The Chesneys lost their father and inherited the farm. Struggling to deal with her father’s mishandling of his finances, Maggie must uncover what happened to their father’s money. In the meantime, Maggie hires the Johanssens to help make repairs, which brings love-struck Luck into her life. Follow Maggie and Robert as they try to save the family farm from storms, back taxes, and a ruthless con man as Luke competes for Maggie’s attention.
