Cynopsis Media announced the call for entries for the inaugural Short Form Video Awards, recognizing outstanding short form content and storytelling across all platforms. Entries are being accepted from now through October 20. Finalists will be showcased at the Cynopsis Short Form Video Festival & Conference on March 7, 2018 in New York City.

“With the burst of interest in and focus on short form content across so many platforms, we thought the time was right to launch this program, which will both entertain and inform our community,” said Cynopsis Publisher Robbie Caploe. “The creativity shown on the creative and business side on short form platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are heralding a new chapter in the media business, and Cynopsis, with its slogan of ‘long story, short,’ makes us the perfect leader of the charge.”

Presented by Cynopsis, the industry's most-read and trusted publication, the Short Form Awards call for entries is open to all individuals and teams worldwide including: production companies/studios, producers, networks, composers, animators, marketing companies, PR firms, ad agencies, creative services teams, developers, interactive advertising/media, online film/video, digital strategists, social media influencers and social content. Vendors are also eligible to compete on behalf of a client. The program is open to national and international entrants. Submit your content or campaign by October 20, 2017.

Entrants’ work will be reviewed by our esteemed panel of Jurors, and will be awarded by series or single event in the following categories at the Cynopsis Short Form Video Festival on March 7, 2018:
