Miller Weldmaster Quick to Partner With FASTSIGNS for Community Giveback Project
Navarre, Ohio (PRWEB) August 25, 2017 -- Miller Weldmaster, a manufacturer of industrial fabric welding solutions based in Navarre, Ohio, has a strong commitment to placing people first. The company has jumped at the chance to partner with FASTSIGNS in support of the Community Giveback project at their Outside Sales Summit in St. Louis.
FASTSIGNS is a leading sign, graphics and visual communications company, with 660 franchised centers located in nine countries. Each year the company brings over 400 outside sales professionals together for a sales summit and trade show exposition to learn about the latest innovations and products in the signage industry. This year’s event, “Fast Track to Growth,” took place from August 17-19 in St. Louis, Missouri.
During these sales summits, FASTSIGNS strives to leave a positive impact on the local community. This year they provided back-to-school bags for Peabody Elementary School, located in downtown St. Louis. This elementary school serves as a public housing complex and has 250 students, 100 percent of which are economically disadvantaged. FASTSIGNS, its sales professionals and corporate partners will come together to provide supplies and assemble a back-to-school bag for each of these students along with a teacher box for each classroom. The project was announced to attendees during Friday’s opening general session, with a bag assembling and networking lunch on Saturday. Later that day, the school principal provided information about the school during the closing general session.
“This is the perfect partnership for Miller Weldmaster,” commented Scott Miller, President and Owner. “My father started this company in 1972 to solve a problem a close friend had putting together plastic-coated fabric material. We have grown since then to become a global company with customers in over 100 countries, but our underlying culture is still based on family values, innovation and hard work. We love it when we can combine business with philanthropy, so the decision to provide financial support and work with FASTSIGNS on this community outreach project was a really easy one for us to make.”
In addition to participating in the community giveback project, Miller Weldmaster also exhibited its new T2 Extreme at the sales summit. The American-made T2 Extreme is a robust, hot air welder that can provide finishing hems, hems with pockets, and hems with ropes for banners and tarps, in many types of thermoplastics. Adaptable for both small and large jobs, the tabletop welder delivers long-term use with impressive features:
- Easy-to-use, one handle operation for control by a single operator.
- Changeable, high-powered hot air heat system.
- Driven top and bottom weld rollers for consistent pressure and reduced wrinkles.
- Quick guide change, with no tools required.
- Sturdy clamps for easy mounting on most any table or flat work surface.
“Our equipment meets a wide variety of fabrication needs, and we love being able to talk one-on-one with potential users. Seeing our equipment in action is more powerful than any promotional material we can produce,” concluded Jeannette Hendrickson, Marketing Manager. “We are thrilled to present our latest signage solution to FASTSIGN’s outside sales professionals to help them implement comprehensive solutions which will provide their customers with great looking, quality banners."
