Joint Industry Association (JIAG) Of Georgia Developed By The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance To Cross Promote Manufacturing Events Across The State
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 28, 2017 -- The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) has formed the Joint Industry Association of Georgia (JIAG) to help other industry associations promote their events for the manufacturing community. Through this joint effort, The Georgia Manufacturing Calendar was developed which allows JIAG members to post their training sessions, manufacturing plant tours, networking events, and trade shows. This free resource helps busy professionals in the manufacturing community quickly locate and register for events across the state.
“JIAG is comprised of membership associations that support the manufacturing industry in Georgia,” said Jason Moss, CEO of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance. “By working together, we can help professionals in engineering, operations, executive leadership, logistics, and packaging form strategic alliances and learn best business practices from each other.”
The basic functions of JIAG:
- Assist JIAG organizations in membership growth and event promotion.
- Advance the communications of manufacturing professionals.
- Promote best practices in all aspects of manufacturing.
Members of JIAG are asked to:
- Post events, tours, and trainings on the Georgia Manufacturing Calendar (GMC).
- Encourage all association members to register for alerts on the GMC.
- Provide discounted rates to events for the partner associations.
“By working together with 12 of Georgia’s leading manufacturing associations, we provide the most comprehensive list of manufacturing based events in the state," continued Mr. Moss. “The Georgia Manufacturing Calendar is a free resource for JIAG members and each association is responsible for maintaining posting and maintaining their events.”
