Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers and Planners announced Greg Simpson has been appointed CEO of the firm. Former firm President Jed Downs has transitioned into an advisory role, as President Emeritus, leaving the day to day leadership and operations of the national firm’s 4 offices and more than 250 employees to Simpson.
Simpson graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelors of Architecture in 1986 and joined Cuhaci & Peterson in 1999, as a Studio Manager focused primarily on large scale retail, food and hospitality projects. Prior to being named CEO, Simpson held the roles of Principal, Vice President of Operations and most recently COO, where he was an integral part of shaping the overall vision of the firm, while ensuring the daily financial and operational responsibilities.
