Infomedia acquires CRM software to expand the Microcat parts selling platform

Infomedia Ltd (ASX:IFM), a leader in parts and service software to the global automotive industry, announced today it has acquired a CRM software for the automotive parts wholesale industry from Sydney-based Randem Group.

The CRM assets, currently known as FieldForce, support original parts sales for both Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and its dealership network.

Infomedia CEO, Mr. Jonathan Rubinsztein said: “The CRM assets are compatible and complementary to our existing parts products and in use by many of our customers. The parts CRM combined with Infomedia’s existing Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) software, becomes a powerful technology combination to transform frontline parts selling efficiency and profitability for both dealers and OEMs focused on selling genuine parts to wholesale customers.”

Managing Director at FieldForce, Mr. Andrew Selim said: “By joining forces with Infomedia, we have an opportunity to reach a global customer base and offer an intuitive, end-to-end CRM solution specifically designed to transform frontline part sales activities.”

“Our existing customers report substantial increases in sales growth and customer retention with the use of the CRM. Working together, we know we can support our combined customer base to sell more genuine parts, improve customer data and sales intelligence, and connect the entire sales channel from OEM to wholesale customer,” Mr. Selim said.

Infomedia will rebrand the FieldForce solution to Microcat® CRM™. Infomedia’s Microcat EPC platform is used by over 120,000 parts department professionals around the world. The Company produces the flagship Microcat EPC software for Daihatsu, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Lexus, Nissan and Toyota.

“We believe the vision for the FieldForce technology is closely aligned to Infomedia’s, and I’m confident our global SaaS infrastructure and scale can be leveraged to help position Microcat CRM as the leading frontline CRM performance tool in the Wholesale Parts selling space,” said Mr. Rubinsztein.
