The sky grew dark, and in the distance a threatening storm cloud began to make its way across the land. At first the eagle flew away from the storm as if it was in fear of it. Suddenly the eagle turned and dove directly toward the storm; then arching its wings against the force of the rushing wind, it was vaulted upward higher and higher until at last the eagle could be seen soaring in the clear air above the storm.
