Research Triangle Park, NC –
August 29, 2017 (PRWEB) August 29, 2017 -- inMotionNow, a leading provider of workflow management solutions for marketing and creative teams, today announced it has added functionality to strengthen security and compliance during the creative review process. The new secure creative review and audit trail features are designed to meet the needs of creatives and marketers working in businesses regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and need to maintain compliance with 21 CFR 11.
“From precision and accuracy in labeling and advertisements, to cyber security, the trend line suggests to us that more and more creatives and marketers are becoming increasingly sensitive to the needs for security and compliance in their workflow,” said inMotionNow Chief Technology Officer Chris Trauzzi. “The latest inMotion enhancement is in response to requests we’ve received from stakeholders in food packaging, pharmaceutical, and financial services, and other regulated industries, where compliance and security simply aren’t optional.”
The company’s flagship product, inMotion, streamlines and automates administrative steps along the creative workflow process – from the initial request and creative brief – to review and approval. For many marketing shops, creative reviews are an ad hoc process, with a range of reviewers weighing in with a viewpoint on, for example, a proof for a proposed advertisement, marketing email or product label. By contrast, regulated industries are required to have tighter controls over this process.
Specifically, the secure creative review and audit trail features provide the following:
- Flexible security options and protocols give teams the power to enable only the security features that fit their needs;
- Require that reviewers enter a username and password to log into the secure inMotion review environment;
- Require that reviewers enter two pieces of identification when signing off on advertising and creative work;
- Get an automated audit trail of every approval on all of your advertising and marketing content;
- Keeps the creative and advertising review process in compliance with FDA requirements for electronic signatures and electronic records (21 CFR 11).
The FDA maintains broad authority to regulate products, labels, notices and advertising for foods, drugs, medical devices, veterinary products, like pet food, and even electronic products that “give off radiation” such as microwaves. These new inMotion features are designed to manage projects within these constraints during the creative and marketing process – to avoid an erroneous product label for an automated external defibrillator (AED) mistakenly placed on devices in market, for example.
“You don’t have to be a creative in a regulated market to understand the growing importance of security and compliance,” added Trauzzi.
This release is the latest in a series of software updates the company has made to the inMotion product so far in 2017. In January, the company launched its all-new review and approval tool – and in May, it released the first-of-a-kind review feature for marking up and approving emails for marketing campaigns. The inMotion platform is specifically designed to streamline processes between creatives and marketers. It has a proven ability to help larger marketing organizations gets content and campaigns to market 76% faster.
