John Fine is a former newspaper writer who becomes the chronicler of the Tyrone Tales. He was an Air Force Chaplain’s assistant who resides in Highland, Illinois with his wife of fifty-six years, has completed his new book “Tyrone Dust”: a potent historical romance set in the early 1930’s in which Earl, the heir of a large ranch in Texas County, Missouri, is determined to win the hand of Eva, the love of his life. Earl begins using Moonshine to assuage his feelings of inadequacy and his despair after the gruesome death of his father and the crushing pressure of his new responsibilities and ultimately finds a redemption in his acceptance of God into his life.
