Company wins prestigious award 2nd year in a row

Akorbi, a leading provider of global business solutions, has made the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row. Inc. magazine ranked Akorbi as the #963 fastest-growing private company in the U.S. The ranking was based on an impressive 3-year growth rate of 450%. Akorbi will be recognized with an award at the Inc. 5000 conference taking place October 10-12 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, CA.

Akorbi’s rapid growth can be attributed to its continued commitment to be one of the most diversified companies in the language services industry and to developing proprietary technology that delivers services quickly, conveniently and cost-effectively. The company’s extensive global services include technical and multilingual staffing, business process outsourcing, multilingual contact centers, learning services, interpretation, translation/localization and video remote solutions.

“It’s a huge honor to be included among such an exclusive list of impressive and fast-growing companies for the second year in a row,” said Azam Mirza, President and co-founder of Akorbi. “I’m extremely proud of what we’ve accomplished in the last few years thanks to the dedication of our more than 930 team members around the world. They, along with our co-founder and CEO Claudia Mirza, work tirelessly to support our global clients and make Akorbi an industry leader.”

Since 1982, the Inc. 5000 has highlighted the nation’s most successful private companies and has become a symbol of entrepreneurial success. This year, the Inc. 5000's aggregate revenue is $206 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 619,500 jobs over the past three years. The complete results of the Inc. 5000 can be found at http://www.inc.com/inc5000.

"The Inc. 5000 is the most persuasive evidence I know that the American Dream is still alive," says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. "The founders and CEOs of the Inc. 5000 tell us they think determination, risk taking, and vision were the keys to their success, and I believe them."
