NH-FUN Donates Truckload of Supplies for Relief Efforts of Hurricane Harvey
Lincoln, NH (PRWEB) August 31, 2017 -- The New Hampshire Fun family of parks is proud to deliver a truckload of supplies to help with the relief efforts of Hurricane Harvey. Alpine Adventures, Whale’s Tale Waterpark and Candia Springs Adventure Park sent these supplies to the Bristol Fire Department to aid in their collection of supplies on August 30, at 2:00p.m.
Included in theses supplies are food, school and personal items gathered from the promotional food and school drive at all three of our companies. During the month of August, guests could bring a non perishable food or school item and donate it, in return they’d receive a discount on admission. This annual food and school drive is usually donated to local food pantries and schools. Given the disaster down in the Gulf Coast this years donations will be sent down to Houston to help during this time of tremendous need.
“The Bristol Fire Department has collected a massive amount of food and personal items. We were proud to make a significant addition to there already astonishing efforts. Very proud of our company and our State,” said OJ Robinson, President of NH-Fun family of companies.
The NH-Fun family is continuing the food and school drive at Alpine Adventures to raise more supplies and help those in need. “Alpine Adventures, Whale’s Tale Waterpark, and Candia Springs Adventure Park are always finding ways to give back to the community. This team effort from all three of our companies represents the spirit of community that we embrace. We would like to thank all our guests who participated in this years food and school drive as it is not possible without them. We wish everyone the best in the hurricane ravaged Gulf Coast.” Said Jeb Boyd, CEO of NH-Fun family of parks.
