MP Systems Makes SOUTH-TEC Debut with New Smart High Pressure Coolant System
East Granby, CT (PRWEB) September 02, 2017 -- MP Systems will display its new VR8 Variable Volume High Pressure Coolant System (HPCS) at the SOUTH-TEC show in Greenville, South Carolina, in October.
This is the first time the company has displayed the VR8 in the Southeast and the first time MP Systems has exhibited at the SOUTH-TEC show.
“We’re looking forward to participating in the SOUTH-TEC show,” MP Systems Sales Manager Kermit Wright said, “And we’re eager to show manufacturers how a good high pressure coolant system can extend machine tool life, improve part quality, and reduce cycle time.”
The VR8 is part of MP Systems’ new Variable Volume VR Series, a line of HPCSs the company launched in late 2016.
“VR Series systems are very durable and energy efficient,” Wright said. “They only use as much horse power as needed to make set pressure, and the high pressure system automatically adjusts the volume to maintain it.”
Variable volume flow adjusts to up to eight gallons per minute. Pressure is adjusted from the VR system’s programmable logic controller and controlled by the cutting machine’s M codes.
VR Series programmable pressures range from 250 – 1000 PSI and systems have 50 or 70-gallon vertical reservoirs, depending on the model. They can be used with water or oil-based coolants. All come with two quick-change large capacity filter bags, a machine installation kit, and a two-year parts warranty. MP Systems works with end users’ machine tool distributors to determine the most suitable coolant systems for each machine and application.
Wright says the VR8, aggressively priced at $11,995, costs about 25 percent less than similar HPCSs on the market. “We wanted to provide customers with an affordable, smart system with more capability,” he said. “The VR8 provides a variable volume system with multiple programmable pressure settings for a wide range of tooling applications.”
MP Systems will also display its UL300 Medium Pressure Coolant System and CS30 Stand-Alone Coolant Chiller.
The SOUTH-TEC show will be held October 24 – 26 at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina. Visitors can visit MP Systems at booth 236.
