Team Up With Edelman, Krasin & Jaye To Help Hurricane Harvey Victims
Westbury, NY (PRWEB) September 03, 2017 -- The Law Office of Edelman, Krasin & Jaye is spearheading a local Long Island effort to bring supplies to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. They have hired out an 18-wheeler truck that will travel from Long Island to Texas, where the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston will collect the shipment of aid materials for distribution to local shelters.
The personal injury firm is honored to organize this relief effort in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, one of the worst natural disasters ever to hit the United States. Though the wind has died down and the rain has stopped, the people of Texas now face the long ordeal of rebuilding and moving on with their lives. With more than 32,000 people now homeless, entire neighborhoods destroyed by flooding, contaminated water reserves and unsafe conditions at every turn, the firm is committed to doing whatever it can to help.
“We’ve all been touched by the news stories of heroic rescue workers and courageous survivors who remain hopeful despite losing everything. Long Islanders are known for having big hearts, and we’re seeing ample evidence of it as we continue to receive generous and much-needed donations.”,” explained Lawrence P. Krasin of the NY law firm Edelman, Krasin & Jaye.
Edelman, Krasin & Jaye is accepting donations of the following items for their truck:
- Bottled water
- Nonperishable food items
- Work gloves
- Packing supplies
- Heavy duty trash bags
- Cleaning supplies, including old towels
- Grocery store gift cards
- Home improvement store gift cards
Each bag must be clearly labeled and delivered to the law office no later than Wednesday, September 6, or the Jewish worship centers no later than Thursday, September 7.
Hurricane Harvey donations can be dropped off at the following Long Island locations:

- Temple of Judea Manhasset – 333 Searingtown Road in Manhasset
- Temple Beth Torah – 35 Bagatelle Road in Melville
- Port Jewish Center – 20 Manorhaven Boulevard in Port Washington
