The three-day Burning Man after party gives burners a chance to decompress before returning to the “real world”

Eldorado Resorts, Inc. joins the 9th annual Great Depressurization, Sept 4-7, with live concerts, beer tastings, yoga, pool parties and Burning Man-themed events across three venues—the Eldorado Resort Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino and Circus Circus Hotel Casino. Produced by Fresh Bakin’, the three-day Burning Man after party receives thousands of burners as the midway point between the festival world and “the default world.”

Eldorado Resorts, Inc. has invested more than $50 million in refurbished rooms, new eateries and entertainment venues, providing an elevated post-burn experience for guests. Featured venues at the Great Depressurization include the Laugh Factory Comedy Club, award-winning Circus Circus Midway, NoVi Lounge, Aura Nightclub, El Jefe's Cantina and Rum Bullions.

“Whether you’re a burner or not, Burning Man has become an intrinsic part of the Reno culture,” said Rick Murdock, vice president of sales and marketing at Eldorado Resorts, Inc. “The Great Depressurization allows us to extend a bridge across the playa, and give our guests a rejuvenating week before their return home.”

Airport officials estimate 20,000 burners to travel through the Reno-Tahoe Airport this year—an increase from 17,000 in past years.

The Great Depressurization offers discounted room rates through Sept. 15. Rooms booked within the official event dates, Sept. 4-7, include access to all shows on the hosted properties. Local Reno-Tahoe community members, or those staying at non-participating hotels, can purchase event wristbands from the resorts directly.
