WHAT: The Princeton Committee of UNCF will host its 17th annual scholarship luncheon to support local students’ efforts to successfully get to and through college. More than 100 guests are expected to attend the event, which benefits deserving students and hopes to raise $40,000 to aid in their financial need. This year’s honorees include The Links Incorporated, Central New Jersey Chapter; Wanda Jackson, former chairperson of the Princeton Committee of UNCF; and Windy White, executive director of Three Doctors Foundation and deputy director of the Edison Job Corps Academy.
"I am honored to be recognized by such a prestigious organization, which continues to serve as a vital educational resource for so many deserving scholars,” said Windy White.
WHO: Established 17 years ago, the Princeton Committee of UNCF is an all-volunteer committee that raises scholarship funds for deserving, bright and talented young men and women from the Mercer, Somerset and Middlesex counties of New Jersey.
