Fit4D, a New York City-based healthcare services company, announced today that J. Bradley (Brad) Wilson will join its Board of Directors. Wilson joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) in 1995 and held a range of senior-level positions before being tapped to lead the organization in 2010. As president and CEO, he is dedicated to improving North Carolina's health care system, making health care more affordable and helping BCBSNC adapt in a changing health care environment. To address health care issues nationally, Wilson serves as a director of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and BCS Financial Corporation. “We are honored to have Brad Wilson join the Fit4D board,” said David Weingard, CEO of Fit4D. “Brad’s thought leadership in healthcare policy and within the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, along with his commitment to the health of patients and expertise in solving for it through the payer/provider system, is critical to helping us achieve our mission of helping people with diabetes in this evolving healthcare landscape."

“I am extremely excited to join the Fit4D team and support the company in their mission to improve the health of people with diabetes. Fit4D’s personalized approach to diabetes education and self-management, along with their use of technology to scale support, provides measurable value to its clients and the patients they serve. I look forward to actively contributing to the company’s continued success,” said Brad Wilson.
